Recently, Wilbur-Ellis’ Feed division donated $2,150 to Silver Buckle Ranch to assist in sponsoring one teen for a six-week long Teen Wrangler course, grounds maintenance around the ranch and aid in the purchase of a newer tractor to replace the existing 1964 model.

The project is currently 86% funded.

Cavallo Ventures, the venture capital arm of Wilbur-Ellis, announced today an investment in Beta Hatch, a Seattle, Washington-based company industrializing the production of insects as a sustainable protein for animal feed. This is Cavallo Ventures’ first investment in the feed industry.
